Summary

A lot of these movies I chose was because they're nolstagic. I have a habbit of rewatching movies I like so most of these have been rewatched many times. I think I've watched Shrek over 50 times for sure. I also really like to break down movies that have hidden elements or interesting storytelling like Coraline's easter eggs and the non-linear storytelling of Elephant. I also have a huge soft spot for things from my teenage years that I used to be obsessed with, like the book series The Mortal Intruments and The Maze runner. Despite horror being my favorite genre, I only have a a few thrillers because I havent found a scary movie I've actually been spooked and not been able to predict. In Hush, I liked the way they protrayed being deaf and the horror of not being able to hear danger.
